V-roof sleeve sets made of PTFE, PEEK or compounds
V-roof gasket sets are made from PTFE or other high-performance plastics. The V-rings are powerful, reliable and consist of a base ring and a cover ring as well as the intermediate rings (V-rings) which function as primary sealing elements. When pressure is applied, the intermediate rings are activated and the lips are spread on both sides. Multiple intermediate rings reduce the risk of leakage.
The pressure ring prevents the lips from being pressed into the gap. Roof sleeve sets or V-sleeve sets are usually mechanically manufactured from PTFE or PTFE compounds, PEEK or other high-performance plastics.
