Radial shaft seals

Rotary shaft seals, the classic shaft seal made of NBR, silicone or FPM (FKM). The shaft seal is a ready-to-install seal for rotating shafts. It consists of a metal body and, depending on the type, an elastomer casing and a tension spring for the contact pressure of the sealing lip.

The designs and dimensions are in accordance with ISO 6194 (DIN 3760). Standard versions are type A without dust lip and type AS with dust lip. There are also several other versions.

Elastomers

• NBR -40 to +120°C (+90°C in water)
• FPM -30 to +200°C
• Silicone -60 to +200°C

Metal housing

• Standard cold rolled steel according to DIN 1624
• Chrome Nickel AISI 304 (DIN 1.4301)
• Chrome Nickel Molybdenum AISI 316Ti (DIN 1.4571)

Spring

• Standard spring steel C72 or stainless steel AISI 302 (DIN 1.4300)
• Special applications Stainless steel AISI 316Ti (DIN 1.4571)
• For FPM we use standard stainless steel springs AISI 302
